How to Create a Die-Cut Flower Patterned Background – Zinia Redo

Hello everyone! It’s Zinia from sunny Greece and I’m thrilled to share with you the first card I created as a member of the new Tonic Studios Design Team.

For my card today, I  die-cut pieces of paper to create a custom patterned background.

Using  Perfect Petunia Die Set I cut out a bunch of flowers out of white cardstock. Then using various colours of Nuvo Aqua Flow Markers, I coloured the flowers with a solid colour.

I adhered the flowers on foam dots, to add more dimension to the design and then filled the gaps between the flowers with small dots using the Nuvo Crystal Glaze.

I decided to also add, small dots in the centre of my flowers with the Nuvo Nirbung Dew Drops.

To finish the card, I added a sentiment using the lovely Will’s Hand – Dream Die Set. I die cut the script word from a piece of Welsh Gold glitter cardstock and the outline piece from white cardstock to make it pop against the background.

That’s all for today

I hope you like this card and ideas to make easy and quick cards using Tonic supplies.

Hugs

Zinia
