Hi all! Welcome to another blog post and video tutorial at the Tonic Studios Blog! It’s Laura here from Making Cards Is Fun and for today’s post, I decided to get creative with Aqua Flow Pens and the Perfect Petunia Stamp Set.
First, I stamped the petunia flower from the Perfect Petunia Stamp Set on Craft Perfect Watercolor Card Stock with Nuvo Black Shadow Ink. I decided to stretch my stamps and make this petunia look like a sunflower by using the yellow Aqua Flow Pen from the Summer Holiday Set. I don’t know about you, but I adore sparkle. So instead of blending my color with a water brush, I blended it out with a Glitter Gloss Aqua Shimmer Pen. I wasn’t able to show you the sparkle on camera, but trust me… it looks so pretty in real life!
Next, I die cut some card stock and the watercolored piece using the Mixed Rectangle Layering Die Set. I love to use this die cut set to layer different papers together. For the sentiment, I die cut the Will’s Hand Enjoy Die multiple times out of Craft Perfect Ultra Smooth White Card and layered the pieces together with Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. Finally, I adhered Champagne Shine Sequins and applied Nuvo Drops in White Blizzard and Dandelion Yellow.
That’s it for now! Thank you so much for stopping by.
Sending big crafty hugs!
