Tonic Studios Winter Wonderland with Linda Parker

Hello crafters,  this is  Linda Parker and I love to spend time designing 3D projects and learning new card techniques.  I also enjoy sharing video tutorials on Youtube and it is an honor to be a guest designer on the Tonic Studios blog today!

So Tonic sent me the gorgeous Winter Wonderland die set designed to create spectacular boxes. I found them really easy to put together, and they are such a good size too (7″x4 “inches)

They could easily be used for many gifting occasions and themes and not just seasonal gifts.

The die set is amazing.  It really is. Imagine being given a gift in a box like this!   Isn’t it stunning?

The only thing you need to bear in mind is that you would need a die cutter big enough to take A4 paper in order to be able to use this set.

You have the base die for forming the elegantly shaped gift box, plus a host of further dies with varying designs for decorating the panels and also for creating pretty decorative accents/labels.

There are two really useful words dies and a cute little tag die included.

I felt spoilt for choice as you have the capacity to create boxes in many different designs, but soon happily set out about choosing my materials and my decorative elements. I opted to use a beautiful pearly white cardstock as the base for my boxes and chose some really pretty papers from my Craft Perfect 6×6 Mint Blush Card Pack.  This pack has some beautiful subtle shades and gorgeous textures so  I chose  Duck Egg Toille and Salmon Harlequin.

I really did enjoy using this set and I am thrilled with how my first boxes have turned out so I can’t wait to see the reaction from the recipients of my gift boxes this Christmas.

They just make the act of gift-giving that little bit more special.

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a great day and Happy Crafting!

Linda xx
