Hello everyone! It’s Zinia again and today I’d like to share with you a set of cards I created simply by doing some ink blending and die-cutting.
These cards are super easy and fun to make and basically, you get two different cards from a single card panel.
How I do it
- I started with a piece of white cardstock and cut it down to standard card size.
- Then I used daubers and the Dream in Color Hybrid ink set to create an ink blended background.
- Once my panel was ready I used some dies from the Perfect Petunia and I created a cut out floral pattern.
- To finish the card I mounted the piece on a card base and just die-cut the sentiment and added a few Nuvo drops in coordinating colours.
The die-cut pieces we removed from the panel are perfect to create a second card.
I just adhered them on a second card base using foam adhesive for more dimension and interest.
To create a smooth transition between the flowers, I made sure the colour order is the same as the panel.
I added a die-cut sentiment and a few Nuvo drops in coordinating colours.
That’s all for today. I hope you like this idea
Happy crafting
