Hey everyone, it’s Kathleen back with you again with two more card ideas using some of my favourite Tonic products. My absolute favourite element in scrapbooking and cardmaking are flowers, so it was only a matter of time until I’d make a floral project with the Tonic products
How to make these cards
- Take a sheet of watercolor card, spray it with the Light Mist Spray Bottle. Then color it with your favorite Aqua Flow Pens and/or Shimmer Powders. I used colors from the Ocean Air and Arabian Nights set, as well as the Lilac Waterfall Shimmer Powder.
- When it’s dry, die cut flowers using the Simple Floral die set. I only used the detail layers for mine so the background of the card would show through.
- Take a white card base and stamp the background with Marble Statue ink from the Merry & Bright ink set.
- Add your sentiments to the cards. You can stamp them directly onto the cards or stamp (and heat emboss) and then die cut them.
- Add some Crystal Gems on both cards for some final touches. Splatter a little bit of Midas Touch to fill the white space.
For the card above I used the small flowers from the Sammy Takes It Easy stamp set and repeatedly stamped them until the background was full. The Thank You sentiment is from the Little Something for Harry stamp set. I embossed it with jet black embossing powder and then die cut with the coordinating dies.
On the card below I used the “Thanks a Bunch” sentiment stamp from the Hooray Banner Die & Stamp Set and stamped it with Black Shadow ink. I also used the detail stamp from the Dainty Daisies set and stamped it in Marble Statue ink to add some details behind the die-cut flowers.
That’s it from me today! I hope you enjoyed this idea and give it a try, too! You can easily change the colour scheme or even the theme by using different sentiments and/or dies on your cards.
Thanks a lot for stopping by! Xo, Kathleen
