Hi everyone! I’m still pinching myself as I have been asked to join the Tonic Studios Social Media Design Team; can’t wait to share my ideas with you all. Presently I am on the Tonic Studios UK Design Team working with a super talented bunch of crafters.
A little bit about me …I live near Cambridge with my OH and our 8-year-old Springer Spaniel, who still thinks he’s a puppy.
My sons are now all grown up, (supposedly), living and having their own adventures. As a crafter, I love to give anything a go from mixed media, album making, stamping & die cutting, so being part of the Tonic Studios DT is simply perfect.
Today I’m sharing 4 different projects using Intricate Floral Heart Dimension Dies, Diamond Heart Box Dimension dies and matching heart layering dies.
Mini Album
The first project I want to share with you is a Mini Album and to make it I created a mini spine to add my pages.
Using a heart die from the Diamond Heart Box collection I made all the pages for the album.
I also created interactive pages securing with mini magnets and hinges.
Top Tip
Heart Box
Rather than use, the square side dies that come with the collection, I have just used the lid die twice to create a box.
The mini album sits perfectly inside this box and when you remove it, you see the sentiment, ‘Just For You’ set inside a heart.
Heart Card
I created my card base by folding a piece of white card and placing the layering heart just above the crease, which gave me a wonderful heart shape.
I have snipped the point away from the back, which means the card will now stand up.
The card has been decorated with the same papers and die cuts to match perfectly with my other projects.
Heart Gift Bag
As the final, final part of this project, I created the gift bag which my mini album plus matching box, fits perfectly inside.
I have kept the decoration on the front of each project the same using die cut elements which are part of Intricate Floral Heart Dimension Dies and Diamond Heart Box Dimension dies
My other decorative elements for these projects are Nuvo Twine and Nuvo Sequins.
I hope you enjoyed seeing different ways to use this collection of die sets and please believe me when say that the Heart Content Collection is a superb versatile selection of dies, which are just crying out to be used in different ways and always to make co-ordinating gifts.
