Hello everyone, it’s Zinia here and today I’m back to share with you a fun card I created using a floral stamp set and my Nuvo Aqua Flow Markers.
I started with the detailed image of the Bunched Bouquet – Traditional Spray Stamp Set 2 and scribbled a dark red colour of Aqua Flow Marker on it. Then I stamped it on the paper. At this first stage, the stamping impression doesn’t look great, but just go with it and keep building up the colour. While the first layer was still wet, I got the large solid image and scribbled on a light pink colour of Aqua Flow. Then I lightly sprayed the stamp with some water to make the colour spread nicely and stamped on top of the first image.
When it was needed I helped the colours blend a bit with a water brush but for the most part, the water and the Aqua Flow inks will do the job. I repeated the same process to create more flowers until my panel was mostly filled. Then I just hand-drew a few leaves to fill the gaps.
To add some more details to my flowers I used Nuvo drops in the centre of both the flowers and the leaves.
To create the sentiment, I die-cut the word “cherish” using a piece of rose gold cardstock from the Moonlight Rose 6×6 paper pack.
I hope you enjoy this project and perhaps you can try stamping using Nuvo Aqua Flow pens
Happy crafting
Zinia
