Learn a Soft Stencilling Technique with Nuvo Embellishment Mousse – Zinia Redo

Hello everyone! It’s Zinia again and today I’m back to share with you a card I created using Nuvo Embellishment Mousses and a soft stenciling technique.

I started on a white piece of cardstock and temporarily adhered the Linking Rings Stencil over it to keep it in place while I’m adding my media. Using a Dual Ended Blender Brush I lightly applied a coat of Peony Pink Embellishment Mousse. Then I removed Linking Rings and did the same thing using the Petal Pattern Stencil and Indian Gold Embellishment Mousse.

To embellish my background a little further I added a few Strawberry Coulis Jewel Drops around some of the geometric shapes of the stencil. I also popped Rose Water Jewel drops in the center of all the shapes.

For my sentiment I die-cut the word hooray from white cardstock, using the Hooray Banner Die & Stamp Set. I also die-cut the die shape and then colored it in with the French Wine Aque Flow marker from the Arabian Nights set.
