Hello everybody! Svetlana here today sharing another card using Perfect Petunia die set and a simple technique to stretch the use of your supplies.
I have embossed the paper using dies this is very simple, in fact!
1. First, take watercolour paper and the Perfect Petunia Die Set.
2. Depending on the die cutting machine you are going to be using, You will need different plates to emboss the paper using dies. This is a simple procedure in which you will need an embossing mat. All you have to do is to place the paper on the embossing mat, then place the die on the paper with the and blades facing down. Add the right cutting sandwich and run this through the machine. The mat won’t allow the die to cut but to beautifully emboss the paper.
3. Then take your favourite Nuvo markers – Aqua Flow Pens – Arabian Nights-894n and colour the flowers.
4. When the flowers are coloured you can apply colours around them.
5. Wait for the paper to dry and splatter Nuvo-Aqua Flow Pens-Glitter Gloss-888n., allow to dry and splatter the paper again using the same ink colours applied on the background and on the flowers.
6. Make a white frame for the flower composition with a Mixed Scalloped & Straight Edge Rectangle Layering Die Set.
7. Add the sentiment. I used stamps from the Hooray Banner Die & Stamp Set ( sadly discontinued on the Tonic Shop but still available in retailers)
8. Use the transparent, crystal Nuvo-Crystal Drops – Morning Dew-677n drops.
That’s all for now. Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs
Svetlana
