Hey everyone, it’s Kathleen here and today I finally have another layout to share! After I was done making the cards for my last blogpost, I thought to myself that the Peony Bloom stamps and the metallic frames would look really good on a layout, too.
How to make this layout:
- Use the Mixed Rectangles dies to cut frames of different sizes from Burnished Rose Mirror Card, Frosted Silver Mirror Card and Golden Glacier Card
- Stamp the Peony Bloom stamp images with Black Shadow ink on Ultra Smooth White Card
- Color the flowers with the Blue Blossom Aqua Flow Pens and the leaves with Autumn Woodland Aqua Flow Pens
- Once they are dry, cut them all out
- First, arrange the frames on the background. Adhere some of them with foam pads to the page (I cut the foam pads in thin strips) to add dimension
- Next, adhere your photo in place and arrange the flowers and leaves around it in clusters.
- After adding your title and journaling, use Crystal Gems for some sparkly accents around the page
For my title, I used some alphabet stickers from my stash, but you could easily die-cut your title from Mirror Card or Glitter Card using some of the great alphabets die sets from Tonic!
Here you can also see how using foam pads behind some of the frames and the flowers help to give the layout more dimension and depth. If you prefer you could, of course, skip the foam adhesive and create a flat page instead!
I hope you like this layout and it inspires you to get creative with your Tonic products!
Thanks a lot for stopping by today!
Xo, Kathleen
